The specially designed Spectrum Program focuses on the care of residents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or various other forms of dementia. The Special Care Residence includes 14 secure, spacious studios and one bedroom apartments. These are the same spacious size apartments found in the traditional living residence. Residents enjoy family style dining, a comfortable parlor for socializing and activities, and a lovely, secure outdoor courtyard ideal for relaxation, recreation and exercise. The 24 hour licensed nursing staff work together with the Director of Dementia Care to develop personalized care plans tailored for each individual. The Special Care Unit provides the benefit of maintaining independence while living among peers in a safe and secure environment.
